About our puppies
From the day they're born, our puppies are handled in every which way. We play with their toes and ears. We brush them every day (not that they need it at this stage, but to get them used to having a brush on them.) and expose them to lots of different sights and sounds as soon as possible. Each puppy gets individual family time, along with group romps around the yard. Once they start walking a crate is placed in the pen. The puppies usually sleep in a pile in the crate, then go outside into the pen to take care of business. At 5 weeks of age we start taking them outside where they very quickly learn what to do when their feet hit the grass. This is the first step in crate training, so when you bring your puppy home, the crate will be a familiar place, and he will hopefully already know how to keep his crate clean.
Puppies are ready to go home to their new families at 8 weeks. Starting summer of 2006 they will already be spayed and neutered, so you don't have to worry about getting that done! Many people debate if they want a male or female, but with early spay/neuters there really is not much difference between the two. We also pick our puppies for our customers once they are around 6-7 weeks of age. We know our puppies well, and want only just the right disposition for each family.
Remember as you look at the dollar signs, that you can make some deductions from the final amount. Your puppy will go home already spayed/neutered (your deposit covered this cost) so this is one expense you won't have later on. So, if you paid $100 for a puppy, subtract desexing cost, your puppy really cost $1,000!!!!!
Prices effective July 1st, 2009
We require a $250 non-refundable deposit on each puppy.
Puppies paid in full by 4 weeks of age are $1300. (Deposit of $250 + balance of $1,050)
- paid in full between 4 and 8 weeks of age $1400 (Deposit $250 + balance $1150)
- purchased after 8 weeks are $1500.
Puppies not shipped or picked up by 10 weeks of age will be charged $25 per day to cover boarding, training, and additional vet care.
All puppy prices include dew claw removal, first shots, worming, vet check, microchip and spay/neuter completed, not to mention all the love and attention they were given in their first 8 weeks! Potty training is started at 5 weeks of age.
Puppies with us after 11 weeks of age will receive their next set of shots according to their individual schedules, worming, along with starting basic obedience and house training.
Shipping is an additional fee and varies depending upon destination. We prefer to escort ship vs. standard shipping in the belly of a plane. Please contact us to discuss how this works.
